A song that I think describes my route is the theme tune to the film paint your wagon, with lyrics

Where am I going, I don’t know,

When will I get there, I ain’t certain,

All I know is I am on my way.

I’m going to try and get a map up here with a nice coloured line showing where i’ve been, but until then i’ll give a basic outline.

England to France, follow the North Sea cycle route around to the top of Norway, then south for the winter, with the idea of travelling down the west coast of Africa, the up the east coast of Africa then east.

But I’ll see how things go as no set plan yet.
